All rooms must be paid for in full at time of booking. We appreciate that sometimes plans have to change. If you need to cancel please give us three days’ notice prior to arrival (i.e. for Friday arrivals you need to tell us on Tuesday) and we’ll give you a full refund. After that time we can move your booking to an alternative date, but we can’t give you a refund.
Standard check in at Vera’s is between 2pm and 6pm. We do our best to accommodate all arrivals and are happy to check in guests outside these times, subject to availability. Please help us out by advising us of your arrival time, especially if this is outside of our normal hours. Check out on the day of departure is 10.30am.
We know that accidents happen and are always sympathetic when they do. We’ve put our heart and soul into Vera’s Kitchen and we’d appreciate notice of any breakages or other damage as and when things happen. We reserve the right to apply an additional cleaning cost of up to £50 in the event of damage to linen and/or furnishings. Please don’t use bathroom towels and bedroom linens for cleaning dogs and walking boots – each room has a special cleaning cloth for this purpose. If you need a new one, just ask.
The room rate includes VAT and a delicious breakfast at Vera’s. You can have tea or coffee plus a fresh juice and then choose from Vera’s breakfast menu.
All of the rooms have a single occupancy room rate.
We welcome dogs in each of our rooms, which all have access to the courtyard and garden. Dog beds are provided on request and are free of charge.
We ask you to behave responsibly and pick up any dog litter – bags can be found in your room, please ask if you run out and we’ll find you some more.
